Helistrat Raise £10,000 for Piam Brown Ward at Southampton Children’s Hospital
Helistrat is pleased to announce that its staff has raised over £10,000 for the children’s cancer ward Piam Brown (part of Southampton Children’s Hospital Charity).
Since supporting the charity Helistrat has participated in various activities from a 24 hour Thunder Run, Fear Factor challenge and even scaling the London O2. Engaging our teams to give back to the local community has always played an important role and the support given to achieve such a fantastic result is something that Helistrat is truly proud of.
Commenting on this achievement, Helistrat’s Head of Marketing, Alison Jenkins said:
“ We feel very privileged to be in a position to support our local community. Our fundraisers create a great atmosphere and energy in the office and to see the difference our contribution is having on the charity makes us all feel very proud. ”
Rachel Funnell, Charity Coordinator for Piam Brown Ward comments:
“We are absolutely thrilled that Helistrat has supported Piam Brown Ward since 2014, and the fact they have raised over £10,000 shows the commitment by their staff to help those in hospital for treatment.
We are thrilled with the continued support of Helistrat. They have helped Piam Brown Ward provide special memories through trips and outings for our children, equipment for the play rooms, items to enhance patient, family and staff welfare, as well as providing research and education opportunities. Helistrat’s support really has made a difference. We really cannot thank them enough!”
