Leading sustainability management consultancy, Helistrat, volunteer to support CHIPS (Crofton Hammond Infant, Parents and Staff).

Giving back to the community plays an important role within the culture at Helistrat and we actively encourage our staff to support charities close to their hearts.

Stephen Brown, one of our National Account Managers recently supported the Crofton Hammond Infant School as part of the South Imperial Troopers Hampshire (SITH) Garrison. SITH Garrison along with the CHIPS Team raised an impressive £1899.00 for the school and will allow for the purchase of new resource equipment for the young learners.

Commenting on the support, Helistrat CEO, Harvey Laud, said:

“It is always encouraging to see the team offering their support to the local community and by providing one fully paid Volunteering Day to each employee,  we are able to support our staff and charities in a way that is mutually beneficial”

About CHIPS:

CHIPS raises valuable funds which are used to buy much needed resources and equipment for the school. In past years we have bought interactive white boards for each classroom, replaced the gym equipment and helped to transform the outside play areas. This year, we are raising much needed funds to replace all the computers in the school.

About SITH Garrison:

SITH Garrison is a not for profit Star Wars costuming organisation working with local charities and organisations to raise awareness within the Hampshire communities.
