Helistrat Support Unloc Enterprise Academy

 In News, Press Release

Helistrat is pleased to be continuing its partnership with the Unloc Enterprise Academy and to support its students in creating, planning and starting their own businesses, or at the very least, helping them to explore this potential career pathway.

The Unloc Enterprise Academy is a programme designed to enable schools and colleges to inspire, motivate and develop the enterprising mindsets of young people. It believes passionately in enabling young people to develop their own skills by setting up and testing their own businesses, projects and ideas. Members of the Helistrat team will be undertaking sessions focusing on commercial sustainability with students undertaking the academy’s 12-week short course.

Commenting on the continued partnership, Helistrat’s Head of Sustainability, Nathan Gray, said:

“The sessions we’ve undertaken with the Enterprise Academy have been both thought-provoking and inspiring and we are delighted that we will be continuing to introduce sustainability into the course programme.  Businesses of the future won’t regard sustainability as a ‘nice to have’ but as a vital element of their licence to operate. Environmental and commercial sustainability are increasingly linked and only business models that recognise this are likely to be able to realise and sustain growth.”

The Managing Director of Unloc, Hayden Taylor, also expressed his support for the continued relationship:

“Our partnership with Helistrat over the past two years has been so valuable on having an impact on young people who are successfully starting their own businesses. Helistrat’s sessions delivered to aspiring entrepreneurs through our 12-week short course has enabled them to implement environmentally sustainable strategies into their businesses from the beginning. We look forward to working with Helistrat in the foreseeable future and its really positive to see Helistrat so dedicated to providing extra skills-related opportunities for young people”
