Join Us for edie Live’s Sustainability Workshops

 In Events, News, Press Release

This year we are pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring and hosting two workshops at edie Live. The event takes place at Birmingham NEC on 21st and 22nd May and the workshops will be running each day, hosted by Nathan Gray, Head of Sustainability and Richard Gillies, Sustainability Consultant. The topics being covered are:

Accelerating the Circular Economy Transition

At present, the war is not being won. Total waste generation in the UK – including waste from local commercial sources – continues to mount, and recycling rates are not increasing fast enough. Clearly, more needs to be done by businesses across the supply chain in order to make the circular economy a reality.

Building Sustainable supply Chains

With levels of trust in government and business in sharp decline, and global megatrends increasingly impacting security of supply, the need to adopt transparent, sustainable and resilient supply chains has never been more important.

Nathan comments:

“edie is an excellent driver of practical information, insight and intelligence on all things sustainability. I am excited to be involved in the workshops for a second year running as they provide a great platform to discuss peer to peer their challenges and what practical and immediate solutions are out there. So much discussion that is linked to sustainability is blue sky thinking, so having the opportunity to help businesses get going is great as you can see ambition really turn into action”.

Edie live is a free to attend event that seeks to empower sustainable business. The event is set to play host to thought-leaders, industry experts and innovative solutions providers. You’re your place onto one of our workshops today by clicking here to register.
